Overview
A synthetic growth hormone-releasing compound with a short active window of about 30 minutes. It stimulates growth hormone release by activating GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotroph cells, triggering signaling cascades that promote GH synthesis and release. Stimulates pulsatile GH secretion, leading to 2-10x elevation in circulating growth hormone levels. Increases hepatic IGF-1 production, mediating anabolic effects on muscle, bone, and connective tissue.
