Overview
CJC-1295 with DAC (Drug Affinity Complex) is a long-acting growth hormone-releasing compound that binds to a blood protein called albumin, extending its active life to several days. It binds GHRH receptors on pituitary somatotrophs to stimulate sustained growth hormone release, with albumin-binding DAC technology extending half-life from minutes to days. DAC covalently binds to serum albumin via a reactive maleimidopropionic acid linker, extending plasma half-life to 6-8 days. Produces sustained, non-pulsatile GH elevation (blunted GH bleed), which differs from the natural pulsatile secretion pattern. Increases mean IGF-1 levels by 1.5-3x in clinical studies.
