Overview
A small synthetic molecule and pan-ERR agonist (most potent at ERRalpha, ~98 nM) that activates genes for mitochondrial biogenesis, fatty acid burning, and the Krebs cycle, mimicking the transcriptional program of endurance exercise. In mice it boosts mitochondria, shifts muscle toward fatigue-resistant oxidative type IIa fibers, improves stamina, and reduces fat mass without increasing voluntary activity. No human clinical trials exist.
